How to Apply for New Renegade Certification

Renegade Certification is only available for farms located in Mendocino and Lake Counties in California. New applications are $150.

Applications for 2026 can be completed using the forms provided here. You will need to fill out both the Application (“Open Form” below) and the Off-Farm Inputs Report (OFIR) further down.

Payment may be made online by clicking “New Application” below. Or you may send us a check (details in the New Application section).

When we receive your application and payment, we will contact you to schedule a farm inspection. To apply fill out the form below completely, then click New Application to make a payment, and go on to fill out the OFIR form.

How to Renew Renegade Certification

Renewals for the 2025 season are $75 per farm.

Off-Farm Input Report

If you are submitting an Off-Farm Inputs Report (OFIR), click here to fill out the form.

If your farm is facing severe financial hardship and cannot afford the application or renewal fee, please contact MendocinoOrganicNetwork@gmail.com to apply for a fee reduction or waiver.

The Mendocino Organic Network that administers the Renegade program is volunteer run. Please be patient and know they are working to review renewals and will be in touch once this step has been completed.
